This is an article from my good friend Len that has been “slashdotted” as well. I agree with what he is saying, only that I would add to the fight against even smaller laptop screens the one against the infamous “ribbon” – that awful thing invented by Mircrosft and copied by others – Autodesk being a prime example. Not only our monitors are getting wider every year, but the few pixels that remain in height are occupied more and more by this thing called the ribbon.
